With over one million hectares beckoning, the Blue Mountains Lithgow and Oberon region is an adventure playground created by Mother Nature herself. A combination of rainforest, blue-hazed valleys, golden sandstone escarpments, canyons, tall forests, windswept heathlands, meandering creeks and rivers and inspiring waterfalls this region provides the perfect setting for activities spanning from the mild to the wild adventure level.

There are over 140 kilometres of walking trails (some even wheelchair friendly) so the hiking opportunities are many including short day walks to extended hikes.

The landscape, terrain and history of the region lends itself to many adventure pursuits including mountain biking; canyoning, adventure caving, horse-riding, abseiling, eco tours, rock climbing, 4WD adventure experiences and even ghost tours.

The best way to have your taste of adventure is with an accredited adventure operator. They can ensure you are fully equipped and they have the skills and knowledge to guide you safely through your chosen experience.
