The Parlour Bar at Hotel Blue

Hotel Blue’s boutique Parlour Bar, adjoining the Guest Lounge, offers a wide selection of wines, beers and spirits, and particularly showcases the produce of regional wineries and breweries. Wines from throughout the Blue Mountains and Central Ranges of New South Wales are featured, including those from the Megalong Valley (upper Blue Mountains), Orange, Mudgee, Cowra and Canowindra. Boutique beers from near and far are also on offer. On a warm summer’s afternoon, a local apple cider is the perfect refreshment. Since the early days of European settlement in the area, the town of Bilpin in the northern Blue Mountains has been renowned for its perfect apple-growing climate, and sampling a local cider is not to be missed when visiting the Mountains.

The Parlour Bar also features a selection of timeless 1920s-inspired cocktails, perfectly themed to the Parlour Bar’s opulent art deco décor. The cocktail list features forgotten gems such as the “Bee’s Knees” and the “South Side”, as well as old favourites like the Martini and the Mint Julep.

Authentic Chinese cuisine, western meals and bar snacks are on offer from Mr Jin's Chinese Restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.

The Parlour Bar features live jass and blues every Friday and Saturday evening, 6:30-8:30 pm.

Capturing the essence of a bygone era, Hotel Blue’s Parlour Bar celebrates the distinctive charm and character of the art deco period. Ornate chandeliers, velvet flocked wallpaper, beautiful antique furniture, richly embellished ceilings and hand-carved timber panelling, with old-time jazz and blues tunes playing in the background, give Hotel Blue its unique ambience, reminiscent of days gone by.
