Blue Mountains Tourism
Blue Mountains Tourism (BMT) is the official local tourism organisation for the Blue Mountains region of NSW Australia, recognised by Destination NSW and Blue Mountains City Council.
Blue Mountains Tourism:
- supports and advocates for tourism businesses in the region
- promotes sustainable tourism
- manages destination marketing
- assists visitors to ensure a they have a fantastic experience
Tourism-focused, industry led and membership-based, the organisation has one employee, the general manager, who works under the direction of a committee of industry professionals who donate their time, expertise and resources to the benefit of the wider tourism industry.
Funded by members, BMT's revenue is reinvested in promoting the Blue Mountains region, strengthening our vision of leading, supporting and providing the best sustainable tourism experiences.

Blue Mountains Tourism Committee
The Blue Mountains Tourism volunteer committee includes representatives from a broad range of tourism sectors including: attractions, transport, luxury hotels, restaurants, guest houses, tourism services, NSW National Parks and Wildlife, and the Blue Mountains World Heritage Institute. The committee meets monthly and is voted on at the annual AGM.
