The Miss Lilian Teahouse is the newest dining venue at Echo Point and offers an immersive culinary journey fusing the freshest local produce with traditional flavours. The result is an exotic yet light menu featuring handmade dumplings and desserts elegantly served in a refined setting within the grounds of the magnificent historic Lilianfels Estate. Guests can choose from a selection of handmade dumplings – chicken and prawn or pork and prawn shumai; prawn hargow; mud crab and scallop; or prawn, squid and chives stuffed in saffron pastry. Alternatively, tuck into the vegetable Buddha Delight; mixed mushroom dim sum; or barbecue pork bun. For the sweet toothed there is a range of sweet buns – Nutella, pandan or yuzu citrus-flavoured custard. Then there’s the dessert bar with pistachio opera cake; zen garden delight; and fresh fruit tart with passionfruit custard. Alternatively, try Madame Violet, a subtly flavoured lavender sponge cake of yam and buttercream or restaurant’s signature dessert Circa 1888, a concoction of Amande praline blanc, Madagascan smoky chocolate mousse and Kacinkoa cacao glaze with 24-carat gold garnish. Along with strong aromatic coffee blends, connoisseurs can sip on an extensive array of loose leaf teas such as amaranth and jasmine; strawberry cream; marigold, jasmine and lily; camellia, strawberry and raspberry; camellia and mango; and lavender and hibiscus rosella rose. The licensed venue is owned and operated by Escarpment Group who also own Lilianfels Resort & Spa , the adjoining Echoes Boutique Hotel & Restaurant, Parklands Country Gardens & Lodges at Blackheath and the Hydro Majestic Hotel at Medlow Bath).
